When I was 17 I didn’t go to school for one year. I would wake up If we get in trouble it’s My auntie’s fault because I listened to her shirt in the morning, wear my school uniform, take my bag, say goodbye to everyone, and go with my best friend to the park to spend the day. My school sucked, so my parents found out only at the end of the year when I didn’t get a report card. I did this because I hated my school. We were expats in the UK and all I wanted was to get back to my home country. I was bullied for being Israeli (the kids would call us FISH, that stands for fucking Israeli shitheads).

Best If we get in trouble it’s My auntie’s fault because I listened to her shirt
My parents freaked out when they found out. But then they realized If we get in trouble it’s My auntie’s fault because I listened to her shirt that this school was not for me. I studied on my own (with the aid of some private teachers) and graduated from high school. I ended up being an engineer and having a Ph.D. so I am not academically incompetent, that specific school was just really bad for me. So what I am trying to say is be angry if you want to, but also find out why your daughter is going out of her way to avoid school. Maybe other kids are being nasty to her, maybe a teacher, maybe another school might be better. Edit: this is now my most-viewed answer on Quora, displacing the previous answer from 2017. I have no idea why this answer, out of all of them, would have so many views, but thanks for the upvotes, I guess?
